Our pilgrims returned from Rome with their batteries charged having prayed together, built new friendships and explored the roots of our faith.

We visited the centre of the worldwide catholic church in the Eternal City: Rome. We trod through some of the same footsteps as our earliest Christian brothers and sisters, their places of home, their own pilgrim journeys and for some of them their martyrdom. We explored the places of St Peter and St. Paul, praying and celebrating mass together.

We visited the Pope’s summer residence and the catacombs which are the site of many Christian burials, our forebears.
