Bishop Malcolm has accepted Juan Carlos Valer as a candidate for ordination to the Permanent Diaconate. Juan Carlos has already completed his academic training at St John’s seminary, Surrey, and will begin a year of pastoral training in our deanery. He will be serving at our Masses as an acolyte. Juan Carlos has previously held senior ministerial roles in the Dioceses of Nashville (USA) and Portsmouth.
