As part of our 50 years Golden Jubilee celebrations, on Sunday 16th July 2006 fifty of us made our pilgrimage to the beautiful abbey church of St Alban. We took a picnic which we enjoyed in the grounds, coffee and tea in the Crypt and then celebrated Mass in the Lady Chapel.
We then enjoyed a guided tour of the abbey itself followed by prayers at the Shrine of St Alban before leaving for home. Have a look at some of our photographs:
