For the Silver Jubilee celebrations in 1980 a booklet was produced.  This was authored by Fr. Phillip O'Dowd, who was an Assistant Priest at the time.  The booklet described the history of the formation of the parish of St Alban's up to 1980.  The booklet is reproduced here broadly as it is seen in the printed form.
